Sweet juicy raspberries have long been a favorite fruit of mid-summer. But did you know that the raspberry is actually a member of the rose family? It's true.
Which might help explain why the flavors of raspberry and honey go together so well. Does that seem like a stretch? Think bees. Bees make honey. Bees make honey using nectar they collect from flowers - like the rose. And since raspberries and roses are related...well ok, maybe it is a stretch.
But the fact that raspberry and honey compliment each other perfectly in this tea certainly isn't. We've used a robust honey flavoring that is absorbed by our high grown Ceylon magnificently, yet doesn't mask the delicate flavor profile of the berries. Just brew, pour, and sip -(maybe with a little milk) - this tea has the sweetener blended right in!
